1. Reservation Policy :

• 100% of the booking charges for the total period of stay has to be paid in order to confirm the booking.
• For booking at Homestay ‘Anchorage 42’, proof of marriage is mandatory for local guests. The Homestay reserves the right to refuse/reject entry of couples if proof of marriage is not provided/presented in person.

2. Cancellation Policy :

• 100% Refund (less transaction charges) – If cancellation is made 7 days prior to check-in date (1200 hrs IST).
• No Refund – If cancellation is within 7 days prior to check-in date (1200 hrs IST).
• Failure to arrive will be treated as a No-Show and there will be no refund.

3. Refund Policy :

In case of a cancellation, the refund amount, as per the cancellation policy, will be processed within 5-7 working days from the date of initiation of the process via online payment/cheque. Transaction charges will be deducted.

4. Child Policy :

•  Guests must declare the number and age of accompanying children at the time of booking.
•  Only two Children aged below 10 years are allowed to stay complimentary in the room with the parents free of charge.
•  Children aged 10 years and above are taken as adult and charged accordingly. Extra mattress on the floor will be provided in the room on request from the guest on payment of the applicable charges.
•  For Maids/babysitters an extra mattress will be provided in the room on requests from the guest on payment of additional charges of an extra person.
• Children must not be left unattended in the room.
• Guests are responsible & will have to compensate for all breakages and property damages resulting from their children mischievous behaviour.

5. Pet Policy :

• Guests must declare the age, breed and number of pets at the time of booking.
• Pets must be kept on a leash or cage when at the Homestay unless it is in the guest’s room. Pets must not be left unattended in the room.
• Pets are not allowed on beds and furniture.
• Pet feed and bedding is not provided at the Homestay.
• Pets are not allowed in any food and beverage areas of the Homestay.
• Pets must be toilet trained and guests are responsible for cleaning urination/defecation done by their pet on the property.
• Any disturbances such as barking must be curtailed to ensure other guests are not inconvenienced.
• Pet must be fully trained and appropriately restrained by guest.
• Pet must comply with local legislation requirements.
• Guests are responsible for all property damages and/or personal injuries resulting from their pet.
• We reserve the right to require immediate removal of any pet that displays dangerous or unacceptable behaviour, including, but not limited to, biting, excessive noise (such as barking), evidence of disease, or urination/defecation in public areas.
• Service Animals accompanying persons with disabilities are always accepted.

6. Fire Safety :

• Not allowed to charge mobile phones and laptops on the bed. This is a serious fire hazard. Kindly charge mobile phones and laptops by keeping them on the writing tables provided in each room.
• In sase of fire, electrical or others, please use the fire extinguishers provided on each floor (Kitchen & Near Electrical Panels). Instructions for use of extinguishers are clearly marked on the fire extinguishers.
• There are two fire exit stairs for each floor. Follow escape instructions.

7. No Smoking Policy :

•  No Smoking Indoors. Please step out into the balcony or terrace/veranda to smoke.
•  The property is covered with Smoke detectors.

8. Garbage Disposal :

•  Please do not throw any litter, especially plastics, on the property or surrounding areas.
•  Use Garbage Bins Provided Indoors and Outdoors.

9. Conservation of Water and Electricity :

•  Please Switch Off The Lights/Ac/Geyser When not in use.
•  Kindly do not waste any water.
•  Please help us to conserve energy.
